How to make your videos into QR Codes

How to make your videos into Qurify Codes.Alright I saw this idea and decided I wanted to do a video tutorial to explain how to do it. You can take your videos from YouTube and make them into a Qurify Code that can be put into a scrapbook or anywhere else. Such a neat idea, I hope that many of you decide to use it.

Not much

There really hasn't been a whole lot of crafting going on over here, not very productive. I did just finish this wreath made out of Hunky Dory fabric. I have made several of these for different holidays/seasons and I really love how easy they are. You can check out the tutorial here. http://www.modabakeshop.com/2009/11/fabric-wreath.html

Something that I have been working on is getting the kids school papers, drawing, artwork organized by each kid, year and grade. I still have a ways to go, but then I am going to try and scrap it using this new to me System called Project Life. http://beckyhiggins.com/products/ I am going to try and incorporate digital scrapbooking with some simple paper as well, or hybrid as they call it. Hopefully sometime I can get some sewing in as well.

Cathedral Window Pin Cushion

I had to make a pin cushion for a swap that I am participating in for February. I have had this tutorial pinned for a few weeks in Pinterest but have been a bit intimidated to try it. Yes this tutorial has lots of steps, but once you start it, they directions are very clear and it's not that hard. I hope that my partner will enjoy this and I may just have to make one for myself.

If you would like to make one here is the awesome tutorial from Kim. http://gogokim.blogspot.com/2011/12/cathedral-window-pin-cushion-tutorial.html

Inspiration

Well, my family and I have decided to try and eat a bit healthier and go on somewhat of a calorie cut back to try and get rid of some of this unwanted weight. Being in the right frame of mind and having the will to stick with it is generally my problem. My daughter is like me in that way, but we are both determined to stick with it. I saw this on Pinterest http://pinterest.com/pin/269723465152771696/ and I thought this is what we need. So my daughter and I made our weight loss inspiration containers last night. You just need some glass jars, glass beads, and some stickers, pretty easy. The concept is easy, once a week we will check our weight, for every pound you shed you take one out of the pounds to go container and put one clear bead in the pounds lost container. Then whenever you get to the 10lb mark you put in a grey bead.  I think both of us seeing it visually everyday will help us stay on track. We are only on day two, but proud of my daughter already for being excited about it.

Sewing Machine Cover

So I decided that I wanted a sewing machine cover that complimented my bright, cheery sewing room. I again went on Pinterest(my new favorite site) and looked for sewing machine tutorials. This one looked simple and easy so I went with it. Now my machine can look cute and not get dust on it while it's not in use. This is the tutorial I used. http://www.stayathomeartist.com/2011/01/reversible-sewing-machine-cover.html
